You want to fly between two cities, that’s why we offer the industries only city based flight planner. We will begin to 'suggest' cities to you after only two characters have been entered in our departure and arrival city fields. And our 'suggest' technology is faster than any of the competitors.

Pick your Airports

Our competitors try to 'suggest' airports as you enter the departure and arrival cities. This can lead to confusion. There are over 10,000 airports in the United States alone that can handle charter jet traffic. We show you just the cities because having to understand where all the airports are in relation to the cities is very difficult. We offer the industries only map based 'pop-up' airport chooser. When you click on the 'I will choose my airport' option on the flight planner, our airport chooser helps you pick the correct airport by finding it on a map showing all the airports in the vicinity of your flight plan cities.

Our direct link to the FAA

We have a direct data link to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We know where all charter aircraft are flying in the United States at all times. This gives us the ability to match your flight plan to operators who will 'typically' fly the route that you are requesting.

Our proprietary 'Spatial Proximity' technology

We arrange all of our information geographically. This allows us to find airports that are 'close' to cities and charter operators that are 'close' to airports. To get the best price for your flight plan we take into account the proximity (closeness) of the operators home airports and aircraft positioning to arrange the best jet charter choices at market driven prices.

One thousand charter operators

With our link to the FAA we monitor all FAA certified charter operators. From the 2500 operators and over 10,000 airplanes we have built a relationship with 1000 operators that have Jet or Turboprop aircraft. When you enter a flight plan we immediately contact all possible operators that would be interested in giving a quote on your flight plan (See our: How we find your charter operators below)

Aircraft listed on Global Charter Jets.com are not owned or operated by Global Charter Jets. These aircraft are operated by a select group of FAA Certified Part 135 Air Charter Carriers that meet both FAA requirements and additional standards set by Global Charter Jets.

We value and respect your privacy. Your contact information will be treated as confidential information. The flight plan that you file with us does not obligate you to purchase and will not cost you anything, unless you choose to fly. As soon as we receive your flight plan we will begin to match your itinerary with the movements of the U.S. charter jet fleet. We will contact as soon as we have some jet charter options for you to consider.


How we find your charter operators

To build the optimum charter flight we use our unique process:
  1. We check the departure airport to find any 'stranded' jets. These are charter jets that have dropped off a passenger load and do not have any passengers to pick and transport. We check to see where their home airport is and if it is close to the arrival airport for our flight plan then we have a perfect match. Our system has the information on over 14,000 airports in the U.S. and we can build matches with planes that are at airports that are 'close by'. With this information we can build the most efficient firm price quote for the charter flight. The operator is happy because he is flying a revenue trip instead of an empty leg to get his aircraft back to base and you get the lowest price for your trip.
  2. We check the 'city pairs' of the flight plan to find operators that typically fly that route. This is especially effective for flight that are planned for dates that are more that five days out. With our unique 'spatial proximity' technology we can also check flight coridors that are close to the flight plan. For example if the flight plan is for a trip between Cleveland and Austin our system will look for operators that typically fly that route as well as operators that fly between Detroit and Dallas and other routes that are in close proximity to your flight route.
  3. We check for operators that have a base at or close to the arrival or departure cities. Using our propietary database of all charter operators in the U.S. and our spatial proximity technology we can find operators that operate out of airports that are close to your desired flight plan cities. With this specialized information we can often find efficiencies with operators who have trips that are not known to any other jet charter broker.

A Unique Private Jet Charter System

Global Charter Jets has been receiving information from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on the movements of all charter jets in the U.S. since 2007. Our system stores the information in a specially designed data warehouse.

We combine that information with our propreitary database of:
  1. All jet charter aircraft (4700+)
  2. All major U.S cities (27,000+)
  3. All airports suitable for charter aircraft traffic (14,000+)
  4. All charter aircraft operators with jet charter aircraft (1000+)
We track and maintain all data with latitude and longitude data so we know 'where everything is'. We then use propreitary spacial proximity algorithms to do 'fuzzy' matching. This gives us the ability to match aircraft and potential flight plans that are 'near' each other. This technology is unique to Global Charter Jets.

With this information we can more efficiently match flight plan requests with operators and their aircraft.
